Is surfing your passion and you're interested in finding a good quality cheapsurfboard? There are six different kinds of major surfboards. Each of these will have a different kind of design that will be catered to a particular kind of condition for surfing. For example, if the waves are huge and going off, then you'll want a different kind of surfboard, then when the waves are small. So let's take a good look at the different kinds of surfboards available.

1. Shortboard " This kind of surfboard is considered the most common. It is used by all kinds of surfing professionals globally. These boards range anywhere from five feet and eleven inches to six feet and five inches. They have a squash tail and a pointed nose. It is not unusual for this kind of design to have various different tail constructions.

2. Gun Design " This kind of surfboard design has been created for huge waves. They are anywhere from six feet to twelve feet long. These boards are a lot narrower than the ones above. They also very fast when riding big waves, as the nose will be prevented from being buried in the water. These surfboards are also a lot thicker and stronger than the previous one.

3. Semi Gun Design " This kind of surfboard has been created on those occasions when the waves are too large for the shortboard, but not big enough for the Gun. These are anywhere from six feet to eight feet long. These boards are thicker and narrower than ordinary shortboards, but they not as large as the regular guns.

4. Longboard " As the name states, this kind of board is a lot longer than the shortboard. The size of these surfboards will range anywhere from eight feet to twelve feet in length. The difference between this kind of board and the shortboards is that the shortboards are not that easy to ride as these. The longboards are usually a lot more difficult to handle. These are also known as the "older men's preference".

5. The Fish " This kind of surfboard is perfect for the smaller waves. If you are a serious surfer, then you probably will want to have at least one fish surfboard. These are great for the days when the wave are really weak and you don't want to use a gun or a longboard.

6. Fun Board " This kind of surfboard is a combination of shorboard and longboard. You could consider this a hybrid of sorts. They are outlined in a rounded fashion and are longer than the original shortboards. This board is going to be a lot easier to paddle and manage with those waves!

With so many different choices available for surfboards, you will want to not only consider the price, as concerns the cheapsurfboard, but also the design. If you surf on a regular basis, it is probably very important that you have more than one type of surfboard.
