In these more conscientious times when typically we are steered to think more about others than ourselves and to give to charity and to look after the environment through reducing our consumerism and waste, it can be a tricky balance for automobile manufacturers to release a supercar onto the market place that can not only set pulses races through its performance and good looks, and also compete with its contemporaries on the marketplace, but also give a nod to other social factors such as fuel efficiency and emissions. Clearly in the old days, you could simply stick a big fat v12 engine in a light chassis, get a designer to give it some good looks and let the rest fit together sublimely like a gin and tonic. However, today supercars need to also have a social reputation, as manufacturers strive to show that they are thinking ahead of the curve.
Jaguar is one of these manufacturers who are releasing fantastic performing cars whilst still looking out for the environment. Whilst supercars are genuinely for the lucky few who have the money to pay for them, in many ways a car like the Jaguar C-X75 concept, which has been put into limited production by Jaguar, are a showcase of the technology and skill that a manufacturer can conjure up as these strive to push the boundaries of what they can create. In this particular case Jaguar has produced a car with performance and low emissions.
The Jaguar C-X75 is a petrol powered car that also features twin electric motors capable of accelerating the car to 60 mph in under 3 seconds and likely to propel the car to over 200 miles per hour, while still producing less than 99g/km of CO2 emissions which is a pretty impressive figure. Of course, whilst you might save some cash at the petrol pumps and the environment will feel better for your investment, you will still need to find somewhere between 700K - 900K to purchase one of these fantastic cars, so with that sort of cost this car might be out of the price range of most of us.
Whilst you might not be in the market for a Jaguar supercar such as the C-X75, the Jaguar range can offer some cracking cars and if you're in the market for a new or used Jaguar in Bournemouth then why not pop along to your local dealership to take a look at the latest models available.
