In this modern, fast paced world, every person's life is his or her own world. Everyone is trying to be the one to climb to the top of the ladder of success without usually knowing how. They see people, who were once amongst them, being ahead of them. They remember famous leaders who did similarly. Leaders who were successful and did so because they were determined and motivated to achieve what they wanted. Every leader has a story. And today, we can use their stories to inspire ourselves to achieve success.

Don't let rejection stop you!

We have many examples of people who, at first, failed. However we also have examples of people who got back up and pushed through with determination and emerged victorious on the other side. Such a story is of Soichiro Honda. He is the founder of the automotive company which has the same name as his last. But how did he achieve such success? He learned to not give up after being thwarted. He sought a job in a now competing automotive company but he was rejected. Instead of giving up, he decided to form his own company and compete against those who rejected him. Using his example as our inspiration to success and greatness, we can learn not to give up. The lesson to learn is that we should never let rejection stop us!

Failed? Not a Problem!

There have been many famous people who did actually give up but still went on to achieve great fame. Such a person is Stephen King. Stephen King is a well known, award winning author who failed in the beginning. When he wrote his first book, it was not accepted by anyone. Being rejected so many time pushed him to the end and he gave up, throwing his work in the trash. However, his wife retrieved the book and submitted it once more. And today, Stephen King's books are read around the and his success stories told everywhere.

Believe in yourself!

Many people leave their homes each morning hoping to achieve something new, bring about a change or return with something to tell. But there are some who falter in their steps and doubt themselves along the path to greatness. And that is how they surrender to the power of doubt. The key to success is to believe in yourself and not to thing for a second that you are going to fail. That is how a man once became the riches person alive, Bill Gates. After his idea of creating a computer with graphical interface and a mouse was rejected by a company, he went on to set up his own, known today as Microsoft. He knew that his idea was a good one and therefore went to great lengths to make it a reality!

Instinct, Determination, Strategy, Action, Go!

Some people today think that they do not have the skills or experience to be as successful as others and therefore they start small and in the end, remain small. What they don't realize is that if they follow their instincts with determination and act on them after a formulated strategy, they will be what they wanted to be. Many people today regard Adolf Hitler's actions as gravely immoral. But at the same time many people agree that he turned out be quite a leader. He had no military background and lacked the qualities to command military affairs with success, but he acted on instinct with determination. He acted most unlike many other leaders. He planned beforehand and then acted upon his plans and achieved what he wanted.

There are many more examples of many more famous leaders that may prove to be inspirational for us. The key lessons to learn from their lives are their unique qualities and not their bad ones. Many people might say that the famous people mentioned aren't all necessarily great famous leaders but their stories make them so, like John Quincy Adams, 6th President of the USA said "If someone's actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, he is a leader."
